This step allows the user to define which Internet Browser Data evidence will be added to the report and to define its options.

Internet Browser Data Evidence to Include:

The following options are available:

  • Include only data checked as "Include to reports": If this option is selected, the report will include only the Internet Browser data evidence or its part checked in the Explorer pane or in the Data View pane.
  • Include all Internet Browser Data evidence from the case: If this option is selected, all existing Internet Browser Data evidence will be included in the report.
  • Don't include any Internet Browser Data evidence: If this option is selected, no Internet Browser Data evidence will be added to the report. This has the same effect as the first option if no Internet Browser Data evidence is checked.

Properties of the Included Data:

Each record from the Internet Browser Data evidence has different properties (they are usually displayed in the Properties pane). These properties might not be equally important to the examiner.

To add the desired properties to the report, select them. Otherwise, clear them. To select all properties, click Check All. To clear all properties, click Uncheck All.

Additional options:

  • Include thumbnails for cached images: The images from the Temporary Internet Files will be included to the report as thumbnails.
